Life has a way of unfolding in perfect, sometimes surprising, ways. Looking back, I realize that every detail of my story — from the day I was born to my bond with my twin and the divine timing woven through it all — is part of a greater plan.
And today, I want to share that story with you — a story of divine purpose, divine timing, and the beautiful unfolding of God’s plans.
Exactly 56 years ago, on a Wednesday morning, I entered this world. It was June 4th, at 6:04 a.m. I was born into a world full of promise, just as my mother was young — only 20 years old — navigating the miraculous journey of motherhood.
That day, my mother felt something intense. The night before, she had experienced what she called “strong contractions,” and she called her sister, Jackie. She told her to come over so they could enjoy some refreshing watermelon — a simple yet joyful moment amid the anticipation of new life.
As they sat together sharing watermelon, my mother’s contractions grew stronger. Then, she called her parents — my grandparents — to tell them it was time. When her father asked where my father was, my mother, with a touch of sarcasm, replied, “In Hollywood, California, pursuing an acting career.”
That slight joke held a lot of meaning — a reminder of how life was already taking shape in its own divine timing, even before I arrived.
My birthday fell on a Wednesday — a day that feels like a divine marker in my life. This year, my birthday again lands on a Wednesday, completing what I call a full circle. It’s as if God is saying, “Look, I’ve been directing your story all along.”
And I believe it’s true. Every detail, every moment, every twist in my journey is part of His divine plan — especially the fact that I am an identical mirror twin, just six minutes younger than my brother. That tiny difference, in the grand scheme of God's purpose, is a powerful reminder that even the smallest details are woven into His divine tapestry.
Lately, I’ve been sensing that God is doing something extraordinary in my life. He’s putting His super on my natural — His divine power, favor, and purpose — accelerating my journey in ways I never imagined.
This full circle moment feels like a divine reset, a time when God is aligning everything for His glory. It’s a reminder that His plans are always perfect, even when we don’t see the full picture.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
This verse encourages me to trust that God's timing is always perfect. Every moment, every delay, every detail — even my mother’s watermelon and the playful sarcasm about my father’s acting career — are part of His divine purpose.

You are called for such a time as this. Your divine purpose is rooted in His perfect timing.
